Li’l Kick Seasoning Garlic Parmesan Wings


Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. defrosted or fresh wings
  • 3 Tablespoons Li’l Kick Seasoning blend
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 tablespoon minced garlic ( I use the “jarred” minced in oil)
  • 1/2 cup rough grated parmesan cheese

Prep time: 30 minutes; Plus 2 hours in fridge for best crispy skin on the wings

Cook time: 45 minutes or until wings are at least 180 degrees (fall off the bone at 200 degrees)

Cooking method: Oven, Smoker or Grill

Servings: 8-12

Instructions

  • Remove wings from package and dry well with paper towels
  • Season wings with 2/3 of the Li’l Kick spice (save 1/3 for seasoning to season just before serving)
  • Place seasoned wings on a rack and place Uncovered in the refrigerator for 2 hours
  • Remove from refrigerator and let sit on counter for 15 min.
  • Place wings in preheated oven, smoker or grill and cook both sides until internal temp of 150 degrees is reached
  • Mix olive oil, melted butter, garlic and 1/4 cup of the parmesan cheese (save 3/4 for later)
  • Add 1/2 of sauce to a large bowl, add the wings to bowl and coat the wings in the sauce.
  • Turn Oven, smoker, or grill temp up to 325 and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Internal temp of wings should be 195 degrees. (meat falls off the bone)
  • Place wings back in large mixing bowl
  • Sprinkle rest of Li’l Kick spice blend on wings, add the rest of the sauce
  • Place on Large serving platter and sprinkle the rest of the parmesan cheese on top
